Erin Lodes is the Communications Director for Promote the Vote Fund, where she leads the organization’s efforts to educate Michiganders on their voting rights and voting options, and on the impact their vote will have on their communities. Together with a diverse network of partners, Erin works to ensure that voters across the state are having important conversations about the changes they want for their communities and how they can get involved in making those changes happen.

A gifted communicator and trusted strategist, Erin comes to PTV with more than a decade of experience in communications, research, and digital and field organizing. Most recently, she worked as the Research and Communications Director for Progress Michigan, where she led a wide range of programs and projects, from combatting disinformation, to monthly public opinion polls, to multiple issue-based and accountability communications campaigns.

Born and raised in western Michigan, Erin has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Aquinas College and a passion for storytelling, the truth, data-backed strategy, and spreadsheets. She is thrilled to be part of the PTV team and looks forward to ensuring Michiganders know the government is designed to work for them, and they have to get informed–and involved–to keep it that way.
